Selma Steinhoff currently serves as Tech Lead for Detection Engineering & Threat Hunting and Interim Value Owner for the SOC at Swisscom, where responsibilities include the technical operation and enhancement of the SOC during Protect & Detect phases. Prior experience includes roles as a Cyber Security Analyst at terreActive AG and IBM, where a Master Thesis focused on Byzantine fault-tolerant distributed systems, including protocol design and implementation with Ethereum. Additional technical experience encompasses teaching assistant positions at ETH Zurich and internships, including significant work on the Mission Control Internet Proxy at Open Systems AG.
