Tim Giger serves as the Principal Consultant and CTO of Data & AI Consulting at Swisscom since August 2014, where responsibilities include driving presales, technology scouting, and partnerships to provide impactful Data & AI solutions to enterprise customers. Giger has also held leadership roles in the Data & AI Consulting unit and has experience in SAP & HANA software engineering. In academia, Giger is currently a co-lecturer at HSLU Hochschule Luzern, teaching Modern Data Engineering, and a lecturer at HWZ Hochschule für Wirtschaft Zürich in Business Informatics. Additionally, Giger holds the position of Company Commander in the Schweizer Armee as a Captain. Educational achievements include ongoing doctoral studies at EPFL, an M.Sc. in Applied Information & Data Science from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and various advanced certifications. Previous experience includes a role as Junior System Engineer at BKW AG.
