Andrew Seward

Andrew Seward is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in economic development, entrepreneurship, and consultancy. Currently serving as Director at The Springfield Centre and Head of Inclusive Economic Development at Swisscontact, Andrew has co-founded Bature Brewery, West Africa’s first craft brewery, and played a pivotal role in its growth and investment strategies. Previously, Andrew held various leadership roles, including Team Leader of the PROSPER-Markets Programme at Kadale Consultants Limited, where oversight of a £5m investment portfolio significantly benefitted smallholder farmers in Malawi. Andrew's background includes significant program and account management roles at firms such as Integrity, Adam Smith International, and Frontier Extension Services. An Executive MBA graduate from the University of Cambridge, Andrew also holds degrees in International Public Policy from UCL and History from King's College London.
