Anne Bickel

Anne Bickel has extensive experience in leadership and development within the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Director of People and Learning at Swisscontact worldwide since May 2009, Anne has held multiple roles within the organization, including Head of Partner Programmes and Manager of Senior Expert Corps & Development Programme. Prior to this, Anne worked at Bread for all from 2003 to 2009 as Head of Communication, Education, and Fundraising. Earlier positions include Project Coordinator at the Swiss National Youth Council SNYC from 2000 to 2003 and a teaching role at a primary school in Switzerland from 1986 to 2000. Anne holds a Master of Business Administration for Non-Profit Organisations from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland, completed in 2012, along with additional education in management and teacher education from institutions in Switzerland.
