Michael Fink

Michael Fink serves as the Country Director at Swisscontact since February 2013, overseeing the strategic direction and execution of programs focused on Skills Development, Tourism, and Circular Economy. This role includes responsibilities for financial reporting, HR management, project management, budgeting, and monitoring results. Previously, Michael held positions such as Head of Monitoring and Results Management, managing a global MRM unit, and Regional Advisor for Southern Africa, where project design and financial proposal development were key responsibilities. Early roles included Programme Officer at GEZA, focusing on capacity building for the Mozambican Parliament, and a student internship. Michael Fink's academic background includes a Master of Advanced Studies from ETH Zürich, a Master’s degree in Development Studies, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Vienna, as well as a period of study in Spain and a Matura from the Federal Commercial Academy Bregenz.
