Marco Iezzi

Marco Iezzi has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and management. Marco started their career at BNL BNP Paribas group as a Datawarehouse design assistant in 2007. Later, they worked at Avanade as an Analyst and then as a Senior Analyst from 2008 to 2012, before becoming a Consultant from 2012 to 2016. Marco then joined Swisslog in 2016 as a Software Hub Technical Leader until 2017. Marco subsequently held the position of Head of Software Engineering and Software Technical Leader for Greater Europe Area from 2018 to 2021. Currently, at Swisslog, Marco is the Software Engineering Competence Lead EMEA and is responsible for ensuring high-quality standards and innovation within the software engineering department. Marco is also involved in recruitment procedures, project coordination, and provides technical guidance to the team.

Marco Iezzi completed their education at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Marco received a bachelor's degree in Computer engineering (Ingegneria Informatica) from 2000 to 2004. Afterward, they pursued a master's degree in Computer engineering (Ingegneria Informatica) from 2004 to 2011. Additionally, they hold several certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified Professional Developer: Enterprise Application Developer, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: .NET Framework 2.0 Distributed Applications, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: .NET Framework 2.0 Web Applications, and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: .NET Framework 2.0 Windows Applications.
