Bhargavi Rao

Bhargavi Rao is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental research, education, and policy analysis. Currently a Partner at ILK LABS and a Visiting Senior Fellow at the IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, Bhargavi also serves as Guest Faculty at the University of Washington and Coordinator for the K2A Academy at Swissnex in India. With a long history at the Environment Support Group, where Bhargavi held various roles including Senior Fellow and Trustee, impactful work has been done on issues related to biodiversity, waste management, and urban planning. Educational contributions include teaching courses on equity and social justice at Bhoomi College, alongside roles at the Centre for Financial Accountability and the Harvard Kennedy School's STS program. Academic credentials include an MPhil in Botany from Bangalore University and a PG Diploma in Journalism from Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication.
