Steffen Bassler

Steffen Bassler has extensive work experience in various finance and investment-related roles. Steffen started their career in 2004 as a Manager at Arthur D. Little and later worked as a Director at Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, where they served as Head of Prime Services for Private Banking and Vice President within Prime Services. In 2012, they joined Capstan Capital Partners LLP as the Managing Director for Switzerland. Steffen also worked as a Lecturer at EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht and as a Freelance Editor at Weltwoche Verlags AG. In 2017, they became a Non-Executive Board Member at visaVento. In 2018, they became the CEO of SwissOne Capital AG, and in 2020, they became a Board Member at Paypolitan. Additionally, they have been a Business Angel at Puurl LTD since 2007 and a Managing Partner at Allegra Partners LLC since 2012.

Steffen Bassler has a diverse education history. Steffen received a Certified Board Member - Swiss Board School from the University of St.Gallen in 2015, specializing in Corporate Governance - Neue Konzepte für den Verwaltungsrat. In 2017, they obtained a degree in Startup Board Academy from ZHAW School of Management and Law, focusing on the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Business Administration - MBA from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht between 1997 and 2001, concentrating on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law. Additionally, Steffen Bassler holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration obtained from San Diego State University in 2000 and Excelia in 1999. Steffen also has two certifications: one in Startup Board Academy from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences in 2017, and the other in Certification for Corporate Governance & Advisory Boards from University of St. Gallen - HSG in 2015.
