Brian J. Oney

Brian J. Oney is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with a strong background in developing and architecting embedded systems using C and C++. Currently, Brian is employed at Swissphone Group, focusing on embedded software projects, following a tenure at Noser Engineering AG where expertise in C++20 for Embedded Linux applications was honed. Prior roles include significant contributions at CODAN ARGUS AG in safety-critical systems and leading projects involving firmware development. Brian also co-founded Essento Food AG & Ensectable AG, where responsibilities included wireless sensor development and inventory systems for insect breeding. Additionally, Brian's academic background includes a Doctor of Science in Carbon Cycle Science from ETH Zürich, and previous research experience in atmospheric carbon measurement during a PhD at Empa.
