Gila K. has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2004 with Swiss International Air Lines as a Senior Process Manager for Risk, Safety, and Security Transportation Management. Gila then moved on to work for the Organization for Abused and Battered Individuals as a Business Development professional for a UN organization. In 2014, they took on the role of Regional Campaigns and Cargo Manager Southern Europe at the International Air Transport Association (IATA). From 2015 to 2020, Gila worked at Panalpina as the Corporate Air Freight Governance, Risk, Regulatory, and Industry Manager. Gila then returned to IATA in 2020 as an IATA External Independent Validator for DGR CBTA Training. In 2022, Gila joined Swisspod Technologies as Chief Risk Officer and later became Head of Risk Regulations and External Affairs. Currently, Gila is the Owner of cargosafety360, an organization dedicated to uplifting air cargo safety and beyond.

Gila K. holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Development and Market Research from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Gila also has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Engineering from Shenkar - Engineering. Design. Art. Gila K. is a certified Quality Engineer from The College of Management Academic Studies. In 2020-2021, they obtained a certification as a Certified Professional Coach CPC from the International Coach Academy, specializing in Coaching.
