Kurt Baumann

Kurt Baumann is an experienced System Engineer and Data Engineer at SWITCH since December 2005, with expertise in system engineering, cloud computing, data engineering, and security management. Prior to SWITCH, Kurt served as an IT Security Officer and Customer Engineer at IBM Switzerland from January 2002 to November 2005, specializing in network security and infrastructure transitions. Kurt's earlier career at Credit Suisse from November 1985 to June 2001 included various roles as a financial specialist and IT security officer, along with diverse back-office functions. Kurt holds an MSc in Mathematics from the University of Zurich, completed between 1995 and 2001.
