Switch
Rolf Brugger has extensive experience in the field of e-learning and digital identity management. Since 2007, Rolf Brugger has held multiple roles at SWITCH, including Product Management for SWITCH edu-ID and Deputy Project Manager for the Swiss edu-ID initiative, which involves the specification of a large-scale identity and access management federation. Additionally, Rolf Brugger serves as Project Manager for e-Identity and has contributed to the establishment of a national community of higher education e-learning experts through eduhub. Rolf Brugger is also the owner and managing director of tazzine.ch since October 2011. Prior experience includes e-learning consulting at Université de Fribourg/Universität Freiburg from 1999 to 2007, where Rolf Brugger provided technical support for nationally funded e-learning projects and managed the setup of a national e-learning platform. Rolf Brugger earned a doctoral degree in Computer Science from Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg and studied at ETH Zürich from 1987 to 1990.
