Gopi Sankar M

Gopi Sankar M is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Switch Mobility since April 2024. With a career at Ashok Leyland since July 1996, Gopi has held multiple significant roles, including Vice President and Chief Engineer for the Advanced Vehicle Program, where Gopi was instrumental in developing India's first modular vehicle platform. Gopi's expertise encompasses product planning, vehicle architecture, and the successful launch of the Dost platform in the light commercial vehicle sector. Previous positions include Program Manager for the V6 Product Lifecycle Management system implementation at Nissan Ashokleyland Technologies LTD, where Gopi managed business process design and implementation from 2008 to 2015. Gopi holds a Master's Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering.
