Melanie James is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the Head of People Culture & Performance at Switched On Group since March 2021. With a significant history in human resources, Melanie has held various roles including General Manager HR for Campus Living Villages and HR & Business Advisor for the Canterbury Employers' Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, Melanie is the President of ACPRE NZ, advocating for the promotion and preservation of the PRE Horse in New Zealand since 2008. Melanie's earlier career includes positions at Meridian Energy and Lloyds TSB Bank plc, complemented by a solid educational background that includes a BSc Hons in Chemistry with Oceanography and multiple HR and management qualifications from prominent institutions.
