SWOG has nearly 12,000 members in 46 states and six foreign countries who design and conduct clinical trials to improve the lives of people with cancer. The group is based at the Knight Cancer Institute at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR. Its statistics and data management center is based at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, WA and its operations center is based in San Antonio, TX.
