Paula Cabrera-Galeana

Paula Cabrera-Galeana serves as the Head of the Medical Oncology Department at the Instituto Nacional de Cancerología since March 2019. Concurrently, Paula holds the position of Co-Principal Investigator at the SWOG Cancer Research Network and is a Professor specializing in Breast Cancer at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México/Instituto Nacional de Cancerología. In addition, Paula functions as an Oncologist focused on Breast Tumors at Centro Médico ABC and is a member of the Latin American Cooperative Oncology Group. With a commitment to multidisciplinary management of breast cancer, Paula oversees medical oncology for breast tumors at the Instituto Nacional de Cancerología and contributes as a member of the Mexican Oncology Council responsible for the certification of oncologists in Mexico. Paula’s educational background includes a degree in Medical Oncology from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and training as an auditor in quality from the Consejo de Salubridad General.
