Debbie Williamson

Debbie Williamson began their career in 1997 as a Product Executive at Reed Business Information. In 2000, they moved to Virgin Media as a Marketing Manager, where they increased new customer acquisition across cable TV, phone, and internet subscription products. In 2001, Debbie worked as an Account Manager at MercerBell in Sydney, Australia, where they managed the Mastercard and Lion Nathan accounts. Debbie then moved to LIDA, a direct & digital marketing agency, in 2002, where they were an Account Director responsible for the agency's flagship account, British Airways. In 2006, Debbie joined Telegraph Media Group as a Marketing Manager, and in 2008 they were appointed Head of Digital Products, delivering new revenue streams by launching online subscription services and ecommerce deals. In 2010, they took a Grown-Up Gap Year, travelling to 16 countries in 13 months. Finally, in 2011, Debbie co-founded Swoon, a company that connects consumers with quality furniture manufacturers around the world.

Debbie Williamson attended Nottingham Trent University from 1994 to 1996, where they earned a BA (Hons) in Communication Studies. Debbie then attended London Metropolitan University from 1996 to 1997, where they earned a BSc (Hons) 2:1 in Communication and Cultural Studies, with a focus on Psychology, Sociology, and Media.
