Andy Main

Andy Main is an experienced professional in project management and technology strategy, currently serving as a Principal Assurance Consultant at Sword Group since December 2025. Prior to this role, Andy held positions such as Portfolio Manager at SSEN Transmission and Senior Director of Technology Strategy & Portfolio at Sysco. With a significant tenure at TechnipFMC, Andy was the Senior Manager of the Global PMO, overseeing a wide range of responsibilities including IT project governance and risk management. Additionally, Andy has contributed to FMC Technologies in various capacities, including Global Project Execution Manager, where the focus was on delivering strategic IT programs, and also served as IT PMO Manager, managing project portfolios in the Eastern Region. Earlier experience includes a role as Head of Portfolio Function at Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and responsibilities as a Service Delivery Analyst, managing IT infrastructure in Scotland.
