Susana Afonso

Susana Afonso currently serves as Chief of Staff for AI Care Delivery Solutions and previously held the position of Associate to the CEO at Sword Health, where strategic initiatives and operational responsibilities were key in supporting the CEO and leadership during significant growth. Susana has extensive leadership experience as a Team Leader and member of the Executive Committee with Corpo Nacional de Escutas, alongside analytical roles at McKinsey & Company addressing governance, operations, and strategy in various sectors. Susana's academic background includes a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, with additional roles ranging from mentoring and guiding international students to serving as Fiscal Council President for a biomedical engineering group.
