Aurora Dopp is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in fund development, communications, and educational support. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Fund Development & Communications at Swords to Plowshares since June 2018, Aurora Dopp has successfully secured various funding sources and authored numerous grant proposals while advocating for veteran services. Previously, Aurora Dopp held the position of High School Coordinator at the French American International School from June 2015 to June 2018, providing support to school administration and managing academic communications for students and families. Aurora Dopp's earlier experience includes leadership roles in AmeriCorps NCCC FEMA Corps, contributing to disaster response efforts and managing team logistics. Aurora Dopp holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Rochester.

For over 45 years, Swords to Plowshares has provided direct services for low-income, homeless, and at-risk San Francisco Bay Area veterans regardless of era of service or discharge status. They are one of the few organizations in the country that provide free legal consultation and attorney representation to veterans seeking assistance with the Department of Veterans Affairs benefits and military discharge upgrade cases.
