Brian Bunker

Brian Bunker is the Director of Practice Management Consulting for Stratos Wealth Partners. In his role, Brian is charged with overseeing the direction of the Practice Management Consulting team in their mission to help Stratos advisors succeed as business owners by executing their practice at the highest level.

Prior to joining Stratos in 2019, Brian spent over two decades with some of the top asset management firms in the country, including Vanguard Investments, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, and Victory Capital Management. In his senior role at these firms, Brian has worked with hundreds of top advisory teams across the country in a consulting capacity and has been an integral resource by delivering topical and relevant practice management insights.

Throughout his career, Brian has coached advisors on a variety of practice management topics. Some of these include the latest trends & insights in wealth management, behavioral coaching, industry and peer best practices, creating scalability and efficiencies within a practice, portfolio construction, succession planning, marketing, referral generation, practice valuation enhancement, and the evolution of financial advice, just to name a few.

Brian earned his M.B.A. degree from Baldwin-Wallace University. He is a Chartered Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) as well as a Certified Mutual Fund Consultant (CMFC). In addition, he holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 license.

Brian resides with his wife and two children in Twinsburg, Ohio and is an avid tennis player, struggling golfer, and travel enthusiast.
