Gregor Friedel

Gregor Friedel is the Head of Music and Musikevents at SWR3 PopUnit, where they have led project management and conceptualization for major events since 1999, including "10 Jahre Die Fantastischen Vier" and the "SWR3 New Pop Festival." They have a diverse background in music journalism and radio, having served as a music journalist for VISIONS and held various roles at SWR, including music editor and studio director. From 2004 to 2007, they taught at Popakademie Baden-Württemberg and spent six years at Norddeutscher Rundfunk as a consultant in fiction and entertainment television. Friedel holds a Magister Artium in Political Science, English Studies, and Media and Communication Science from Universität Mannheim.
