Brent Yates

Brent Yates is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer at swXtch.io, where they are responsible for bringing missing capabilities to traditional cloud networking environments. Brent'srole involves enabling companies in media, finance, and manufacturing to migrate their most demanding and mission-critical workflows to the cloud by utilizing the groundbreaking cloudSwXtch technology. Prior to this, Brent was the Chief Technology Muunqi at Muunqi Inc, an open source software business that enhances software teams and infrastructure to enable high-performance networks. Brent has also served as the Chief Technology Officer at HellaStorm, Inc, where they played a crucial role in driving technological growth and building profitable partnerships with customer engineering teams. Additionally, Brent has extensive experience in FPGA design, having worked as a Senior Principal FPGA Engineer and FPGA Team Lead at IneoQuest Technologies. Brent was responsible for all FPGA designs and led a multi-disciplinary team in the design and support of video analysis products. Earlier in their career, Brent co-founded and worked as a Principal Engineer at Embedded Systems Design, Inc, a boutique consulting firm specializing in supporting startup ventures in the Atlanta area.

Brent Yates attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1987 to 1993. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
