Ann Alva Wieding

Ann Alva Wieding is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in photography, marketing, and community arts development. Currently serving as the Photographer and Marketing & Business Development Manager at Space ATX since July 2021, Ann collaborates with management to create marketing materials and produce video content, while also engaging with local community partners. Ann has been an Atmosphere Photographer for SXSW since 2017 and has operated an independent photography business since 2015, specializing in editorial and artistic photography. As a co-founder of ARTiculation, Ann played a significant role in supporting Austin Visual Artists, and previously managed the Arc of the Arts program, promoting the artwork of disabled artists. Ann's background in education includes positions at the Oregon Museum of Science & Industry and Austin Children's Museum, showcasing a commitment to art and education. Ann holds a B.F.A. in Art & Museum Education from The University of Texas at Austin.
