Brandon Sammons

Brandon Sammons is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software development, project management, and education. Currently serving as Vice President of Software at SXSW since October 2016, Brandon leads a cross-functional team in delivering custom software solutions for events. As the CTO and Founder of Hyper Collaborative, a non-profit organization, Brandon provides technology services to non-profits focused on social good. Previously, Brandon held various roles in software development and education, including Adjunct Faculty at FIDM, earning the Outstanding Faculty Award in Graphic Design three times. Brandon's technical expertise includes Ruby on Rails and React, with a strong educational background, holding a Master of Science in Integrated Design, Business, and Technology from USC and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas State University.
