Douglas Seifert, PhD

Douglas Seifert, PhD has extensive experience in the field of cognitive science and interactive technologies. Douglas began their career in 1995 as Director of BioProcess R&D at Merck, where they were responsible for the launch of several vaccines and led a team to design and build a biologics pilot plant. In 2002, Dr. Seifert founded Syandus Inc, where they serve as President and CEO. Douglas's work at Syandus has earned 8 Small Business Innovation Research awards from the National Science Foundation and has resulted in the development of virtual immersive learning technology to transform knowledge into real-world performance.

Douglas Seifert holds a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from Lehigh University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from Bucknell University.
