Nathaniel Johnson

Nathaniel Johnson is an experienced professional currently serving as the 2nd Vice President and Certified Veteran Advocate at NACVSO since July 2021, while also holding an executive board member position. Johnson contributes to the Community Advocacy Committee for Sycamore Community School District 427 and has been involved with Kane County, Illinois Veterans Treatment Court since July 2018, promoting services to veterans in the legal system. Additionally, as Assistant Superintendent and Veterans Service Officer for the Kane County Veterans Assistance Commission since March 2015, Johnson has developed outreach programs and assisted veterans with benefits and financial aid. Johnson's military background includes serving as a Correctional Officer and Cavalry Scout in the United States Army and Army Reserve since September 2008. Academically, Johnson holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Northern Illinois University, complemented by an undergraduate background in Communications and Corporate Communications.
