Phoebe Balentyne

Phoebe Balentyne, Ed.D., serves as the Director of Instructional Technology at Sycamore Community School District 427, with a career that began in August 2007. In this role, Phoebe has facilitated teacher improvement through instructional coaching and supported educators in utilizing technology with a learner-centered approach. Previous positions include Mathematics Teacher, Spartan Reach Teacher, and Spartan Reach Assistant, where Phoebe focused on curriculum development and the implementation of innovative teaching methods. Additionally, Phoebe has held part-time and adjunct instructor roles at Northern Illinois University and the University of West Georgia, teaching various courses in educational research and assessment. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in School Improvement from the University of West Georgia and multiple degrees from Northern Illinois University, culminating in a Master of Education in Educational Leadership.
