Claus Nielsen

Claus Nielsen is the current head of risk management at Sydbank. Claus has also held previous positions as the head of cash and risk management, executive vice president at Sydbank, head of sales at Nasarius, and head of commercial development at BeScord A/S. Claus Nielsen has also been the owner and founder of Bankoptimering.dk since September 2020.

Claus Nielsen attended Copenhagen Business School, where they earned a BA in business administration with a focus on organization and management. Claus also earned a graduate diploma (HD-O) in business administration from Copenhagen Business School. Claus Nielsen then attended Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, where they earned a BA in business administration with a focus on accounting and financial management.

Claus Nielsen reports to Claus Peder Michelsen, Head, Corporate Clients. They work with Søren Østergaard Nielsen - Merchant Bank, Daniel Lapp - Head, Trade Finance, and Pauli Yngve Laursen - Corporate Clients.
