Karolina Thomsen

Karolina Thomsen is an experienced professional specializing in sustainable development and communication. Currently serving as an Arbejdsmarkedsrådgiver at Syddjurs Kommune since November 2023, Karolina previously held the role of Bæredygtighedskonsulent at Mollerup Golf Club, where the first ESG report and a 23-point action plan for sustainable development were developed through structured data collection and analysis. Karolina co-founded smaek, a creative project house focused on experience-based branding and event design with an emphasis on sustainability. Previous roles include Project Leader & Copywriter at JS Danmark, Marketingmedarbejder at Svejsehuset A/S, and Chefredaktør at VINK Aarhus, among others, while also serving on the board of Aarhus Økologiske Fødevarefællesskab. Karolina holds degrees in Oplevelsesøkonomi and Medievidenskab from Aarhus University, as well as additional education at Det Grønne Akademi.
