Bart Cavalletto

Bart Cavalletto was appointed as the Director of Strategy and Innovation for Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network in April 2021.

Bart comes to SCHN after almost eight years as Director, of Services at NextSense (formerly the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children), where he led disability, education, and health service provision and development nationally.

Before that, Bart spent 30 years in the NSW Health sector as a clinician, manager, and in-service developer at both CHW and SCH. Bart was a member of the SCH Executive, before moving to the Ministry of Health, where he led a team with responsibility for strategy, planning, service development, policy, funding, health technology, and innovation, and Nationally Funded Centres for a range of state-wide services.

Bart is a motivated leader committed to helping SCHN lead the way in sustainable healthcare.
