Stephen Nugent

Stephen joined the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network Board in January 2022. He brings to the Network more than 30 years of experience in the finance and insurance industries.

He is currently the Chair of Community First Credit Union and a Director of the Customer Owned Banking Association and was previously the Chief Customer Officer for HCF where he led significant reform programs focused on digital transformation, productivity improvements, and enhanced customer service.

Stephen is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University, and holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) and Graduate Certificate in Internet Marketing.
