Andrew Boyd Barber

Andrew Boyd Barber is an established urban planning professional with extensive experience in various roles across Australia and New Zealand. Currently serving as Manager of Urban Planning at Sydney Metro since October 2022, Barber is involved in one of Australia's largest public transport initiatives. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Urban Designer at Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities, where support was provided for the Auckland Housing Programme, and urban design contributions at Christchurch City Council during post-earthquake recovery. Barber has also worked with Barton Willmore in the UK on major infrastructure and community projects and has experience in graphic design and drafting from earlier positions at Echelon Planning and INDESCO. Andrew Boyd Barber holds a Master's Degree in Urban Design from the University of Melbourne, complemented by an exchange at UCL and a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the University of Canberra.
