Helen Laverty

Helen Laverty is an experienced professional in precinct coordination, place making, and urban planning, currently serving as the Director of Precinct Coordination for the Sydney Metro West Project since May 2017. In this role, Helen leads interface activities at station project sites, managing stakeholder relationships and infrastructure delivery for urban renewal precincts. Previously, Helen held several key positions, including A/Director of Place Making & Property at Western Sydney Airport and Senior Manager of Strategic Place Making and Activation. Moreover, Helen has contributed to various councils and organizations, focusing on community development, policy management, and project execution, supported by a Master's degree in Management from the University of Wollongong and a BA (Hons) in Social Science from UNSW.
