Jeff Parnell

Jeff Parnell is an experienced acoustics expert currently serving as a Senior Advisor Acoustics at Sydney Metro since July 2020. In addition, Jeff holds the position of Visiting Fellow at the University of Technology Sydney since April 2019 and was an Adjunct Academic at UNSW from July 2017 to July 2020. Prior experience includes working as a Noise Specialist for the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment from October 2008 to July 2020, and serving as Manager Noise Strategies at the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) from November 2006 to October 2008. Jeff also managed Environmental Monitoring at the NSW Roads and Traffic Authority from August 1997 to November 2006. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Engineering Science from UNSW and two Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Science and Science from the University of Wollongong.
