Joanna Lau

Joanna Lau is an experienced transport planning professional currently serving as a Manager of Transport Planning at Sydney Metro since December 2021 and an Executive Committee Member of the HKU Alumni Association NSW Chapter Australia since August 2023. Previously, Joanna held various positions at Transport for NSW from April 2016 to December 2021, including Senior Service Planner and Senior Transport Planner. Earlier career experience includes over a decade at Arup as a Transport Planner and a role as a Graduate Transport Planner at Ho Wang SPB Limited. Joanna holds a Master’s degree in Transport Management from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Geography from The University of Hong Kong.
