Lucy Hancock

Lucy Hancock currently serves as the Director Legal - Project Delivery at Sydney Metro, providing legal advice for the delivery of metro projects since February 2023. Previously, Lucy was a Casual Lecturer in Contract Law at UNSW, where lectures focused on legal issues pertinent to the engineering industry from July 2017 to July 2023. Lucy also worked as a Senior Associate at Mills Oakley, advising clients on complex disputes from March 2016 to February 2023, and held the position of Federal Prosecutor at the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions, managing indictable prosecutions related to serious Commonwealth offences from September 2019 to September 2020. Lucy's legal career began at Dentons as a Lawyer from November 2012 to March 2016. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from UNSW, a Bachelor of Arts from The Australian National University, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia.
