Phye Ibbotson

Phye Ibbotson, PhD, GSAP, ISAP, CAAM, is an accomplished sustainability professional with extensive experience in various roles focusing on sustainability and life cycle assessment. Currently serving as the Sustainability Manager at Sydney Metro since July 2021, Phye also holds the position of Founder and Director at Sustainability 4.0 International. Previous roles include Systems and Reporting Manager and Sustainability Manager at Transport for NSW, and Life Cycle Assessment Advisor at Mirvac, where contributions were made toward assessing environmental performance across 80 development projects. Phye has also provided academic leadership as a Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and has engaged in significant research in sustainable manufacturing as a Research Engineer and Research Associate in collaborative projects between Australia and Germany. Phye holds a PhD in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from UNSW, a Master's degree and Diploma from Imperial College London, and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Mahanakorn University of Technology.
