Ryan Butler

Ryan Butler serves as a Senior Advisor in Environment at Sydney Metro since September 2020, contributing to the Sydney Metro West project, which aims to enhance connectivity between Greater Parramatta and the Sydney CBD. Prior experience includes the role of Senior Manager for Planning Approvals, leading a team in managing planning and environmental assessment for state significant infrastructure. Earlier, Ryan held positions at Tactical Group as Environmental Manager for the Moorebank Intermodal Terminal Precinct and at Transurban, working as an Environmental Planner on the NorthConnex project, which involved significant motorway construction. Ryan's career began as a Document Controller on the Hills M2 Upgrade project. Educationally, Ryan earned a Bachelor of Planning from Macquarie University between 2009 and 2012.
