Ilmar Leetberg

Ilmar Leetberg is currently the Artist Liaison Manager at the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Prior to this, they worked as an artist liaison for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra from 1991 to 1997 and for the London Symphony from 1989 to 1990. Ilmar also served as a Development Manager for the Arts Council of Australia (Tasmanian Division) from 1987 to 1989.

Leetberg has a long history of working in the symphony industry, and their experience has proven invaluable in their current role. Ilmar is responsible for liaising with artists and managing productions for the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. In addition, they also provide executive services and assists with artist management.

Leetberg’s passion for music and their dedication to their work have made him an asset to the symphony industry. Their wealth of experience and knowledge are sure to continue to benefit the Sydney Symphony Orchestra in the years to come.

Ilmar Leetberg has a Master's in Arts Administration and Management from City, University of London, a Diploma in High Renaissance, Mannerist and Baroque Art from the British Institute of Florence, and a B.A. Hons. Dip. Ed. in Comparative European Literature from the University of Tasmania.

They are on a team with Sam Torrens - Artistic Planning Manager, Karl Knapp - Senior Producer, Artistic Planning. Ilmar Leetberg reports to Melissa King, Director of Artistic Planning.
