Ian Riddick

Ian Riddick has a diverse work experience in the field of sports marketing and sponsorships. Ian has held various leadership roles in organizations such as Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness, where they served as the Head of Marketing & Sports Programs, overseeing strategic planning and continuous development of marketing and sponsorship plans. Prior to this, Ian was the Managing Director of Driving Force: Sports Marketing and Sponsorship, where they led the development of marketing strategies and campaign content for key segments. Ian also served as the Global Marketing: Sponsorship Marketing Manager at Dimension Data, directing the organization's sponsorship strategy. Ian has a strong track record in managing marketing and commercial functions, as seen in their roles as the Managing Director of Havas Sports & Entertainment and Driving Force. Ian has also held leadership positions in the sports industry, such as the Commercial Director of Royal Bafokeng Sports and the Managing Director of Platinum Stars Football Club. Ian's expertise in marketing, branding, and sponsorships is evident throughout their career, particularly in their role as the Partner and Marketing Director at Driving Force - Dubai and as the Marketing Manager at Worldwide Sports Marketing and Advertising. Ian Riddick obtained a Masters in Strategic Marketing from Wits Business School in 2019. Ian also received a Chartered Marketer certification from Wits Business School in 2012. In 2010, they completed a Management Programme (Map) at Wits Business School. In 1993 to 1995, they earned a Sports Sponsorship Diploma from London Business School. Additionally, they completed an Internet Marketing Programme at the University of Cape Town in 2014. In 1992, they obtained a National Senior Certificate from St Benedict's College. Ian Riddick also holds a Chartered Marketer certification from The Marketing Association of South Africa, obtained in 2012.
