Farhana Rifat

Farhana Rifat is an experienced professional in the field of water management and strategic planning, currently holding the position of Senior Research Development Manager at Sydney Water. Rifat has also served as a Senior Strategic Planning Advisor and Senior Strategy Advisor at the same organization. Prior to joining Sydney Water, Rifat worked as a Planning Engineer in the Network Planning Team at MWH Global and as a Junior Engineer in the Water Resource Management Team at the Institute of Water Modelling. Rifat possesses a Master's Degree in Integrated Water Management from The University of Queensland and has pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Dhaka University, which is currently on hold.
