M. Owais

M. Owais, MIEAust NER, is a highly experienced Principal Engineer - Electrical at Stantec since November 2020, where responsibilities include leading the detailed design of Electrical, Instrumentation, and SCADA networks for water and wastewater treatment plants. Currently serving as an Electrical Project Engineer on a secondment with Sydney Water, M. Owais oversees significant projects like the Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre. Previous roles include project and senior electrical engineering positions at companies such as Thompson Controls Pty Ltd and Adamson Electrics Pty Ltd, focusing on electrical design, maintenance, and commissioning. M. Owais has extensive experience in managing technical teams and executing maintenance strategies in the power generation sector, with a background including an Engineer’s Degree from NUST and an MBA from Bahauddin Zakariya University.
