Pankaj Kandage

Pankaj Kandage is an experienced cost estimator and civil engineer with a diverse background in construction and engineering roles. Currently employed at Sydney Water as a Cost Estimator since March 2023, Pankaj liaises with stakeholders to gather essential information for tendering and bid processes. Previously, Pankaj worked as a Quantity Surveyor at Slattery, where responsibilities included project design research and cost estimation for infrastructure projects. Pankaj also held the position of Procurement Specialist at Bay Building Group, managing estimating software integration and standardizing estimating processes across regions. Other notable roles include Cost Engineer at Red Energy, Project Engineer at Whitehorse City Council, and Civil Engineer at Holcim, with a solid foundation in site engineering from early career experiences at Hiranandani. Pankaj holds a Master’s degree in Building Construction Technology from Bond University and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Mumbai University.
