Christian Alsterberg

Christian Alsterberg is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in ecology and water management. Currently serving as a Lektor at Lunds tekniska högskola and Forskningsledare at Sydvatten AB, Christian has previously held roles such as Environmental Coordinator for the Catchment Partnership of Kävlingeån, where responsibilities included overseeing water governance activities and managing communications with various stakeholders. Christian's research career includes significant contributions as a researcher at Lunds universitet, focusing on land-water interactions in agricultural landscapes, urban nature-based solutions, and urbanization effects on marine wetlands in the USA. Christian holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Gothenburg, complemented by a Master's degree in Ecology.
