Arthur Bertrand

Arthur Bertrand is a seasoned professional in polymer science, currently serving as a Senior Scientist and R&D project leader at Syensqo since December 2023. Previously, Bertrand held the position of Research Scientist at Solvay from May 2018 to December 2023, focusing on polymer design and development within the specialty polymers sector. Prior experience includes roles as an R&D Engineer at Saint-Gobain, a Postdoctoral Researcher at CNRS/Université de Pau, and a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Minnesota, where the research focused on organic solar cells, OLEDs, and nanostructured materials. Bertrand earned a PhD in Polymer Science from INSA Lyon and has a strong background in supramolecular polymers, technical textiles, and composite materials, supported by multiple publications and research projects.
