Ihab Elia has a diverse work experience spanning over 23 years. Ihab is currently the Global Head of Supply Chain at Syensqo, a position they have held since December 2023. Prior to this, Ihab was the Executive Vice President of Supply Chain & Quality at Solvay from September 2019 to December 2023. Ihab has also held various roles at Dow, including Global Director of International Trade from January 2017 to August 2019, Logistics Director for the Middle East, Africa, India, and Turkey from October 2013 to December 2016, and Business Operations Director from February 2011 to September 2013. Before joining Dow, Ihab worked at ASGC as the Commercial & Business Development Manager from March 2007 to February 2011. Ihab started their career at Mars, where they held the position of Procurement, Planning & Logistics Manager from August 2000 to March 2007. Ihab also briefly worked as a Credit Analyst at Emirates NBD from February 2000 to July 2000.
Ihab Elia holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management, Strategy and Leadership from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business, which they obtained from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting & Finance at The American University in Cairo. In addition, they have obtained a certification in "Adapting to Changing Contexts" from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2022.
