Mário Lopes

Mário Lopes has a strong background in procurement and accounts payable operations. Mário started their career as an Accounts Payable Operations Representative at Solvay in September 2019 and later became an Accounts Payable Operations Specialist L1 in December 2020. From January 2021 to November 2022, they worked as an EMEA Multi-Site Buyer at Solvay, where they were responsible for procurement activities. In September 2022, they took on the role of EMEA Lead Multi-Site Buyer for a brief period. In December 2022, Mário Lopes was promoted to Global IT Buyer at Solvay, a position they held until December 2023. Currently, they are working as a Global Category Lead IT Buyer at Syensqo, starting in December 2023.

Mário Lopes completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Applied Quantitative Methods from the University of Essex, from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc in Business Management from the same university, from 2015 to 2016. In 2020, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from Solvay.
