Matthieu HELFT has extensive work experience in various roles related to technology, research and innovation within the chemical industry. Matthieu currently holds the position of Head of Technology and R&I Director for the Green Hydrogen platform at Syensqo since December 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Solvay for many years, where they held several leadership positions, including Head of Technology and R&I Director for the Green Hydrogen platform, Group R&I Portfolio Manager, Corporate Project Director for the Solvay new R&I Center, Strategy, Marketing, and R&I Director, and R&I Director for the Global Business Unit Aroma Performance. Before joining Solvay, they had roles at AXELERA and worked as a Process Engineer during their military service at Areva. Matthieu also gained experience as a Master of Science in Polymerization process at Arkema and as an R&D trainee for the Bicarbonate process at Solvay.
Matthieu HELFT pursued a strategy program at INSEAD Business School in 2015. In the previous year, 2014, they participated in the Advanced Industrial Marketing Strategy program also at INSEAD. In 1997, they obtained a Master's degree in Modeling of PEVA tubular reactor from Arkéma. Matthieu HELFT's education history began in 1994 when they attended ENSIC, a French Highschool specializing in Chemical & Process Engineering. In 1996, they received engineer training in a new sodium bicarbonate crystallization process in a continuous stirred tank reactor from SOLVAY.
