Patrick Moreau

Patrick Moreau has extensive experience in research and development, with a focus on coatings, industrial process solutions, and surfactant flooding technology. Patrick has held various roles at Solvay, including Global R&D Director for Coatings & Industrial Process Solutions, where they managed a team of 90+ employees and successfully developed laboratory capabilities to provide solutions to customers. Prior to that, they were the R&D Laboratory Manager, leading a team focused on surfactant flooding technology in the oil and gas industry. Patrick also has experience as a Senior Scientist and Project Leader in chemical enhanced oil recovery, where they developed solutions, made recommendations for pilot scale deployment, and managed a research team. Patrick began their career at CNRS as a Scientist, specializing in surfactant science. Patrick holds a Ph.D. in Surfactant Science.

Patrick Moreau completed their Master's degree in Physics at Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) from 1998 to 2001. Subsequently, they pursued a PhD in Physical Chemistry at Université de Bordeaux from 2001 to 2004.
